Now in Overwatch, everything’s coming up Milhouse Roadhog. Or not. Really more Junkrat than anything. Roadhog got nerfed to Hell and back, while Junkrat got an extra mine and a faster RIPtire.
Nonetheless, Overwatch is getting a new Escort map: Junkertown. And boy, does it have a lot going for it. Not only is it filled with irregular terrain and what looks to be a windy path, it might have a few unique environmental quirks too. And, it certainly introduces the Queen of Junkertown with a bit of flair. You know, despite the fact that she’s basically an announcer-level entity as far as the game is concerned. Oh, and a new in engine cinematic:
Junkertown isn’t officially in Overwatch yet, though. As a matter of fact, no one knows when it’ll be in, other than “soon”. But once it is, it’ll be another payload for me to die on blissfully.
