The Imperial Mouse Droid only showed up for a few seconds in the original Star Wars, but it made a huge impact on the series. Now that Disney owns the franchise its been milking it for everything that it’s worth, and to be fair I’m okay with that.

Announced today is something that fans have been craving for a very long time –An R/C Imperial Mouse Droid. This little bugger arrives this December just in time for the holidays and features a neat Imperial remote control that produces movie accurate sounds.

But there is a catch. The R/C Imperial Mouse Droid will only be made available in Disneyland Park gift shops. It’s their way to get people into the park, and too be fair, it’ll probably work. I’m already planning my holiday trip.

But that’s not all as they also announced another deep lore item that is being turned into something real. The Imperial Comlink (used by Luke while stuck in the trash compactor) is being turned into a Bluetooth Communicator. It will let you take calls and play music once connected to your smartphone or Bluetooth enabled device. Oh, and it comes with a belt clip to finish of that Stormtropper cosplay!
