Get “N” or get out?
Well, the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack is now totally live. This means that those of you willing to pony up an extra $30-$35 to do so now have access to N64 and Sega Genesis games on the Switch.
As mentioned in the Direct a little over a month ago, here’s what your money gets you at launch:
Sega Genesis:
- Castlevania Bloodlines
- Contra Hard Corps
- Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine
- Ecco the Dolphin
- Golden Axe
- Gunstar Heroes
- Musha
- Phantasy Star IV
- Ristar
- Shining Force
- Shinobi III
- Sonic the Hedgehog 2
- Streets of Rage 2
- Strider
Nintendo 64:
- Dr. Mario 64
- Mario Kart 64
- Mario Tennis
- Sin and Punishment
- Super Mario 64
- Starfox 64
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- WinBack: Covert Operations
- Yoshi’s Story
In addition, the following have been promised to be added at some time in the future:
- The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask
- Mario Golf
- Pokémon Snap
- F-Zero X
- Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards
- Paper Mario
- Banjo Kazooie
Personally, I find it hard to justify getting it, given my general pauper status. But, hey, I’m not the be all, end all, am I? Maybe it’s a deal to you. Regardless, it’s out there, now.
