Nintendo has been tight-lipped about the Nintendo Switch console in anticipation of their huge Nintendo Direct this January. But that isn’t stopping us from getting a number of leaks for the console, mostly from retailers jumping the gun.
Toys ‘R Us Canada got some wires crossed when a page for the upcoming system went live a little early, revealing some previously unknown information regarding the Switch.
The now removed page (screenshot below) noted that the Nintendo Switch base model will retails for $330 in Canada. That translates to $250 in US dollars, which makes the Switch pretty reasonable for an all-new console.
While the price feels right on the money, especially for launching during a pretty dead period of the fiscal calendar, we don’t know what the “base” model comes with.
Others have noted that the base model includes the console and controllers, with a model with more internal storage and pack-in game running for around $312.
