I’m not really sure why.
For the first time, Humble customers can buy Nintendo Switch and 3DS games directly on the Store in the United States. Considering there is an ecosystem in place on both Switch and 3DS, this move doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
Nintendo is pretty strict on their digital pricing, so we don’t see the Humble Bundle people offering up any significant savings for consumers. I assume this is a good way to get in the good graces of Nintendo to potentially open up some 1st-party games eventually making their way into a Humble Bundle.
In the past there have been a few Nintendo based Humble Bundles, but those featured 3rd-party games for the 3DS and a few indie games for the Wii U, if we recall correctly.
