Some time back we talked about the possibility of seeing The Legend of Zelda come to the small screen via a live-action adaptation on Netflix. Nintendo chief Satoru Iwata spoke to Time Magazine about said rumors in a recent interview and said that the rumors were, “not based on correct information,” and that there was, “nothing new to share” about the possibility of any Nintendo brand making the jump to the small screen in any form. Sure, he isn’t outright saying no to the possibility (common business speak to cover possible future projects), but odds are we won’t be seeing a Zelda show come to pass.
