Tom Brady may be enjoying an extended off-season thanks to the NFL. While the NFL isn’t one to go after their top talent for offenses, Commissioner Roger Goodell is taking action thanks to the findings of the Deflategate scandal.
According to the New York Daily News, Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady will be suspended in the coming week for his involvement. This is huge news in the world of football, as the NFL is taking a stand against anyone and everyone that looks to skirt the rules, even if said rule-breaker is their biggest star.
The New York Daily News stated the following:
Roger Goodell’s decision is expected to be announced next week and it is no longer a matter of if the NFL commissioner will suspend Brady, but for how long he will suspend him.
The biggest question is just how many games will his suspension end up being? Many online are calling for an entire year long suspension, but we won’t know until the official announcement comes down. While chances are that nothing will happen to his Super Bowl victory, we will have to wait until next week to find out.
