Merchoid.com, the online Videogame merchandise retailer has announced the release of a brand new officially licensed Zelda dress, inspired by Link’s iconic costume. The dress, dubbed ‘Dress of the Wild’ comes in one colour (Link green) and has printed straps on the front and back, and a Hylian Crest on the upper right chest. It’s available in sizes from S to XXL. The ‘Dress of the Wild’ is available to preorder now from from Merchoid.com for $36.99 and is released in September (all prices include free worldwide shipping).
Merchoid’s Community Manager Jessica Adams comments “We’re so excited for Nintendo’s new console and the upcoming Zelda game; the Dress of the Wild is a small sample of what we have coming in the next few months.” The Dress of the Wild isn’t the first of Merchoid’s merchandise aimed at female Zelda fans; the merchandise company has previously released a Zelda Cosplay Hoodie and a Zelda Nightwear Set, both aimed at women.
Jessica continues “Imagine if Zelda were a girl – this is exactly what she’d wear!” before hastily adding “Of course, I’m kidding. Please don’t send me hate mail.” The Zelda Dress of the Wild is produced under official license from Nintendo.
