This new SNES inspired mechanical keyboard is sure to hit you in the 90s feels

This has been a pretty shitty year as a whole. With all the crap that has happened our collective nostalgia has seem to continue to blossom. It does make sense as when things seem crappy we fall back onto the things that make us happy.

From Nintendo’s NES Mini thing that you still can’t find anywhere, to the return of movies and television shows from our youth, 2016 has been a year of brining back the past. But PC gamers tend to get the short end of the stick with this regard.

Sure, we get the odd video game coming back, but odds are you aren’t going to see an old IBM 486 on the shelf with a preloaded copy of Ski-Free. But there is still something pretty cool coming from Hyperkin.

Known mostly for their console peripherals and their custom consoles that play classic cartridge video games, the company has just released a new mechanical keyboard that is sure to delight SNES fans.

The new PC Hyper Clack Tactile Mechanical Keyboard features “clicky” Gaote Blue switches, perfect for comfortable precision gaming or hours spent writing the next Great American Novel. But the real kicker is the look it has gone with.

The keyboard plays off of the styling of the Super Nintendo color scheme and is sure to stand out on your desk alongside that treasured copy of Chrono Trigger.
