Netflix has announced the core cast of it’s live-action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop.

John Cho (Star Trek, Harold and Kumar) will lead as their Spike Spiegel. Mustafa Shakir (Bushmaster in Luke Cage) is Jet Black. Daniella Pineda (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) is their Faye Valentine. And rounding things out is Alex Hassell (The Red Sea Diving Resort, Suburbicon) ass Vicious.

Alex Garcia Lopez (Daredevil, The Punisher, The Witcher) is directing the first two episodes. Christopher Yost (Thor: Ragnarok) will write the first episode. The show has a huge executive producer list, including Kosh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Jeff Pinkner, Scott Rosenberg, Christopher Yost, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, Yasuo Miyakawa, Masayuki Ozaki, Shin Sasaki, Tetsu Fujimura and Matthew Weinberg.

Shinichiro Watanabe, the director of the original Cowboy Bebop, will serve as a consultant on the series.
