I don’t feel a thing, and I stopped remembering
The days are just like moments turned to hours
Netflix has announced a 10 episode live-action adaptation of the classic anime series Cowboy Bebop. In other words, the series that put Shinichiro Watanabe’s name into everyone’s mouth.
And, thankfully, Watanabe will be consulting on the show. Which really goes a long way towards minimizing my worries of a Netflix Adaptaton meme coming about for the series. Netflix is producing the series with Tomorrow Studios. They also have Christopher Yost (writer for Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok) serving as executive producer, as well as writing the first episode.
They haven’t cast anyone yet, but they’d have to be fools to not at least try to get Keanu Reeves for Spike. He’s never been more perfect for the role, and the man doesn’t age.
YOU’RE GONNA CARRY THAT WEIGHT.
