San Diego Comic-Con is over but news is still trickling out from some of the events and announcements that happened. One such announcement that surprised more than a few people came from the Neopets Team. That’s right, Neopets, the on line site that has been gathering dust for years is coming back!
At a party in San Diego the Neopets team announced a new mobile app for fans of the Neopets world. We are getting a mobile game called Neopets Legends & Letters. Also announced is a mobile site where players can play all sorts of mini-games just like the good old day.
Neopets Legends & Letters marks a first for the Neopets brand as it will be the first foray into the mobile space. It should be noted that Neopets and video games aren’t strangers with Capcom working with Neopets to put together a puzzle game on the Wii, as well games for other platforms.
The are keeping with the puzzle genre with Neopets Legends & Letters, and the game will pull heavily from games such as Puzzle & Dragons. Think of it like a puzzle battle game where you use your Neopets to battle all sorts of familiar enemies.
The game is set to launch on iOS and Android this October
