What You Need To Know About iPhone 6

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, the time where all the tech geeks from around the world reunite and sit down with their laptops to watch Apple unveil its new product; this year being the iPhone 6. With that being said, here is what you need to know about Apple’s iPhone 6.

There two models:
Yes, you read that right. Apple has not only released iPhone 6, but it also unveiled another iPhone by the name of iPhone 6 Plus ( No more letter conventions). Both of these phones will be rocking bigger screens with the 6 having a screen size of 4.7-inch screen and the 6 Plus with a 5.5-inch display. The iPhone 6 will display a resolution of 1334 by 750 with 326 pixels per inch, for a more than 720p Retina HD display. While the iPhone 6 Plus will display a resolution of 1920 by 1080 with 401 pixels per inch. That’s full 1080p HD resolution. To break it down even more, that means that iPhone 6 has over one million pixels, and iPhone 6 Plus has over two million pixels!

These would also be the thinnest iPhone’s yet, with iPhone 6 measuring in 6.9 mm and iPhone 6 Plus with a bit more at 7.1 mm.

Landscape Mode, LTE & Wifi Calling:
Apple is finally bringing in a Landscape mode to the new iPhone, something that Android & iPad users have been enjoying for quite sometime now. Now built-in apps like Messages will look even better and you’ll get extra functionality from the bigger keyboard. My big fingers approve.

About time

Not to mention that the iPhone 6 has faster LTE than the iPhone 5s. It also has more LTE bands than any other smartphone on the market for better roaming which will support over 200 LTE carriers around the world. This includes all three carriers in China. It keeps getting better with the inclusion of wi-fi 802.11ac. The iPhone 6 Wi-Fi speeds are now up to three times faster than iPhone 5s .Apple also made the announcement of incorporating Wi-Fi calling so you can still make high-quality calls when cell conditions are poor.

iSight camera:

The iPhone 6 comes with an 8MP iSight camera, 1.5µ pixels, ƒ/2.2 aperture and an all-new sensor. With these improvements, you can expect the iPhone to be better at detecting faces both near and far and the new ISP helps with both shaky hands and low light. Additionally, now you can take up too 10 photos per second with the front facing camera and capture Single-shot HDR photos. Ladies and Gentlemen, it is easy to say that the selfie game, just… got… real.

Now to for what you been waiting for, pricing. Before mention it, Pre-order for the iPhone 6 starts on September 12. The pricing was not as bad as I thought it will be, but I’m impressed that Apple now has an iPhone that can hold enough music as the iPod Classic. I’m pretty sure with 128gb in a phone, your’re almost set for life; Well in my case at least.

But what about you? Will you be waiting for hours in a line , just to get your hand on this new phone or will you just wait and see and hope it doesn’t turn out like the iPhone 4 (Antenna problems).
