N64 and Nintendo DS games coming to Wii-U!

Nintendo-DS

Big news for Wii U owners as Nintendo has announced that Nintendo 64 games will be coming to the system. Okay, so maybe that’s not huge news, but what if I told you that Nintendo DS titles are also coming to the WiiShop. That’s right! You can now have the chance to play some classic DS games with a number of different options. Both N64 and DS games will offer support for custom control configurations, but the DS games are where things get interesting. Nintendo says that it will offer multiple dual screen setup options between both the GamePad and TV. PLay a DS game all on the Gamepad (the size is perfect) or have a dual setup between the TV and Gamepad. Color me excited!

Prices for Nintendo 64 games will cost between $9.99 and $12.99, but if you already own a N64 game on Wii Virtual Console, you’ll be able to upgrade it to the Wii U version for only $2. The DS games on the other hand will run between $6.99 and $9.99.
