Mutant Football League Launches Steam Greenlight Campaign

Developer Digital Dreams Entertainment have announced that  Mutant Football League, the spiritual successor to the #1 selling Sega Genesis sports-hybrid game, has launched its Steam Greenlight campaign. The game will also be available for hands-on multiplayer at PAX West 2016 within Booth #7010 at Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Wash., from Sept. 2-5 if you are in the area.

PAX West attendees can experience  Mutant Football League’s multiplayer madness and mayhem first-hand, while the classic series’ original creator and lead designer, Michael Mendheim, will be present to demonstrate the latest PC/Steam build of the new title.

With the campaign to make  Mutant Football League a Steam Greenlight release officially under way,  MFL fans with Steam accounts can help the game attain Greenlight approval by placing a vote directly from the PAX West booth or by going to  bit.ly/MFLgreenlight.

Some Extra Game Details

  • 20 Teams of Monsters & Mutants: Teams are comprised of a wide variety of customizable 3D characters including skeleton Deadheads, sentient BattleDroids, criminal Aliens, bio-engineered Super-Humans, and monstrous Orcs.
  • Dirty Tricks, Killer Stadiums, & Gridiron Carnage: Each team has its own set of twisted audibles to devastate the opposition! The playing fields are also strewn with diabolical hazards, booby traps, and debris.
  • Grab Friends for Multiplayer Action: Online and offline multiplayer for 2 to 4 players, competitive and co-op. Laugh at friends while crushing them or team-up and destroy all challengers.
