Must Have Nintendo Switch Accessories

Must Have Nintendo Switch Accessories

The Nintendo Switch has been around a long time now and over that time a lot of accessories have come out to make your gaming experience on the handheld a much nicer one. In this weeks list we’ve scoured the Internet to find just some of the best accessories that you are going to want to get you hands on if you are a Nintendo Switch owner.

We have all sorts of items, and nearly all of them won’t break the bank while still giving you a much better experience while on the go. With that said, none of the items featured reached out to us and we don’t use affiliate links, meaning we don’t make any money off the following items. They are simply ones that we’ve found and want to share with you!

Let’s get started!

. NYXI Hyperion Pro Wireless Controller

There are a lot of controllers for the Nintendo Switch on the market, but few are as cool and affordable as the NYXI Hyperion Pro controller. Enjoy precise control with the NYXI HYPERION PRO Controller’s Hall Effect Joysticks, ensuring accurate movements and enhanced gaming performance. Customize your gaming experience with the “Gamer’s Reflex” memory function, saving your preferred settings for seamless and personalized gameplay sessions.

Tailor your controls effortlessly with programmable back buttons, empowering you to execute complex strategies with ease and gain a competitive edge. Immerse yourself in your games with 6-Axis Gyroscope Motion Sensing, allowing for precise movements and seamless integration into virtual worlds. Enhance your gaming experience with adjustable turbo and vibration settings, providing responsive feedback and heightened immersion.

Experience fatigue-free gaming with the ergonomic design of the NYXI HYPERION PRO Controller, allowing for extended gaming sessions with maximum comfort and control. . HORI Switch Fighting Stick Mini

A good controller makes all the difference in the world, but sometimes the right controller isn’t the best. This is the case for fighting games and SHMUP titles that work much better with an arcade joystick. HORI have come through in this regard by releasing their Switch Fighting Stick Mini that is compact and portable, something important for a Nintendo Switch accessory.

This stick features a full 8-button layout and a proper micro switch activated joystick yet is small enough to easily store and transport (product is approximately 8” x 6”). This wired controller features a long cable, Share button, and other convenient functions. Perfect for fighting games, arcade style games, and much more.

Not only that, but you can also use the controller on your PC which makes it great for those wanting an arcade feel without the size of a massive arcade stick to use for only a couple of titles. We just wish it came in more colors to better match your given style!

. NEWDERY External Battery Station

The Nintendo Switch isn’t all that great on the go in terms of battery. Since the console is now years old, this issue is only getting worse. So, what is one to do when they want to play of the go without having to worry about running out of battery? NEWDERY has you covered with the 10000mAh battery pack. There are lots of batteries for the Switch, but this one from NEWDERY is special for what else it can provide.

The battery also serves as a comfort grip that you can attached to your Switch. This means you lose having to be tethered to battery pack by wire while also having a better and more comfortable grip on the Switch itself. Not only that, but it comes with Switch cart storage for the added benefit. And if your phone or other device is running low you can still use this battery pack to charge other devices while on the go.

Price: $42.99

. Mirabox Switch Dock Charger

The Nintendo Switch is a fantastic portable system, but one that requires a lot with you to keep it going. How portable can something be is you need a backpack full of stuff to keep it alive when on a trip? One thing I don’t like is having to disassemble the Switch accessories in order to head out on a trip. Mirabox makes this a little easier on me with their fun little Switch Dock Charger.

Where most adapters require your power brick, the Mirabox Switch Dock Charger is the power brick! This saves you a lot of space and means I don’t have to tear-down my Switch when I head out on the go. It also features an HDMI input right in the brick as well as a USB port that allows you to plug in a controller. This easily becomes a must-have for those on the go

Price: $39.99

. Nintendo Switch Adventure Pack

Everyone probably has a Switch case by this point. But if you are like me that case is quickly getting filled up with game cart cases, extra controllers, power banks and adapters, and more. This is where a Switch Adventure Pack comes into the picture. These slick looking one-strap bags come in a number of styles for your favorite Switch franchise.

It’s built to mobilize all the accessories you need to take your Switch or Switch Lite experience anywhere: Your Switch, dock, charger, and other accessories will fit neatly and safely within the Adventure Pack. Black with red and white accents will set you apart from the pack. It’s even designed to fit the larger Hori JoyCon alternative controllers that don’t fit in standard packs.

Price: $24.99

. TFY Switch Car Headrest Mount

The Switch is a great device for on the go gaming but sometimes holding it can become a pain, especially sitting in the back of a car or on a plane for long trips. TFY understands this and has a solution with their TFY Car Headrest Mount for the Nintendo Switch that makes enjoying the Switch a better experience, especially on your neck. No one being hunched over like a shrimp!

The Silicon holding net protects and will not scratch the edges of your Nintendo Switch and is perfect for playing games in a car, leaving hands free to operate your JoyCon controllers or Pro Controller. The design allows easy access to the buttons and screens of Nintendo Switch but also supports most tablets making this a great multi-use device to go from gaming to watching content.

Price: $19.50

. TP-Link USB to Switch Ethernet Adapter

The Switch is great in docked mode allowing for a better visual experience, but one thing it isn’t great at is online capabilities. I’m not saying it’s bad, at least not as bad as Nintendo’s online has been in previous generations, but it pales in comparison to the Series X|S and PS4/5. This comes down to the fact that the Switch is missing a Ethernet port, a port that is essential for consistent and fast speeds.

This little guy helps connect your Nintendo Switch to a wired network system, a much faster and more stable network environment than a WiFi connection. Enjoy super-fast and high-quality downloading on your Nintendo Switch. If you are playing Smash or a competitive online title and want an edge, you need an Ethernet adapter ASAP!

Price: $12.98 (Sale Price)

. PURBHE Controller Adapter for Nintendo Switch

I don’t have a Pro Controller because I’m the sort of fool that thinks the controller that comes with your console should be enough. And while the JoyCon controllers attached to the dog looking handle work well, they are not the most comfortable things in the the entire world. That said, I’m not going to go out a spend nearly $100 on a Nintendo controller that does only one thing when I have perfectly good Xbox and PlayStation controllers right here.

That’s where the PURBHE adapter comes into the picture. This little USB stick that looks like a Series S, can turn your PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S or One S controller in to one that works on the Nintendo Switch. Simply plug it into the USB port of your Switch dock and pair your controller like any other and you are good to go! Now you can game in comfort without breaking the bank.
