The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Morena Baccarin (Firefly, Gotham) has officially signed on to play opposite of Ryan Reynolds in the upcoming Deadpool flick.

While we are yet to find out who Baccarin will playing, we do know that it’s a character who will be falling in love with Ryan’s Deadpool character. That poses a number of problems as fans of the character will note he is not one to settle down with anyone.

Maybe she will be able to tame his ever beating heart with some delicious chimichangas.

T.J. Miller and Gina Carano have already been confirmed for the Deadpool film, so that cast is starting to finally round out.

Deadpool is set to release sometime in early 2016.
