‘Mobius Final Fantasy’ comes to Steam this February alongside FFVII tie-in event

FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE Collaboration Event to Also Debut
Thos Final Fantasy milking folks over at Square Enix have let us know that they are releasing their mobile RPG Mobius Final Fantasy onto Steam on February 6th.
How really knows how this all will work as Steam users aren’t all that happy when mobiles games get ported to the service. Just check out the reviews for any such title for proof of that.
At least Square Enix is adding some stuff to the game as it heads to the PC with  full HD (1920×1080) support that tailors to different screen sizes. Who knows if tis will be enough, but I’ll wager early reviews won’t be all that kind.

In addition, a special collaboration event with the upcoming FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE is set to begin on February 7, because when you need to save a Final Fantasy game just throw Cloud and company into the mix.
Speaking about the collaboration, Yoshinori Kitase (producer of MOBIUS FINAL FANTASY and FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE) said, “I am very happy to be able to announce a collaboration event featuring these two games today. The event will be released on February 7, when you will be able to see the dream pairing of Cloud and Wol in action!”
I have no idea who the hell Wol is, but I have my doubts that he is on the top of the list of people to team up with Cloud in the grander Sinal Fantasy universe. Still, if you’re on #TeamWol then this is good news.
