Kick9 brings the global MOBA mobile phenomenon MOBA Legends, into the esports arena in partnership with professional esports gaming network ESL. MOBA Legends is a free-to-play fast-paced arena combat game that puts players into fierce and fast-paced 10-minute competitive battles against other players on iOS and Android devices. Unique heroes, or Legends, band together to destroy minions and defense towers as they clear lanes on their way to victory.
I actually downloaded the game upon release and have been playing it on and off since. It works pretty well and is a lot of fun to play as it’s designed for quick play. When I’m waiting I don’t mind getting in a game with randos, which is nice as they can’t scream insults at me. I’ve even streamed a few games of Twitch and people seem to enjoy it. Maybe I’ll sign up for one of these tournaments and try and win some money so I can expand this site.
Kick9 and ESL will be hosting 19 tournaments in 2016 providing players with over $20,000 worth of prizes including an all expenses paid trip to China to compete in the world championship where teams will compete for an additional $30,000 worth of prizes.
