Metroid: Samus Returns Brings The Series Back To Its 2D Roots

Nintendo  has sometimes seemed like it hates the Metroid series, but this year at E3, Nintendo came out swinging big with the series. Metroid: Samus Returns will bring the series to the 3DS and seems to be a complete remake of the original Metroid II.

That game only came to the Game Boy, so it makes sense to get a full-fledged remake as the game has been missed by even serious Metroid fans. Again, Nintendo is being very picky about what it shows, and even those that played the demo don’t have a lot to say other than it being a remake.

The good thing is that the game will be available on September 15, so we won’t have to wait long to get in on this adventure.
