The CCG market is a busy one, only matched by the current Battle Royale trend. With games like Magic the Gathering, Yu Gi Oh! and Hearthstone, there is something for everyone. And not there is something for the Marvel fan with Marvel Battle Lines.
This mobile game will be free-to-play and is being worked on by the folks over at Nexon, who have a bit of experience with this online thing. What nice is that the game features an actual single-player campaign and not just some solo battle mode.
The single-player mode is being written by Marvel writer Alex Irvine and will cover a bunch of famous storylines from Marvel’s history. Each card will also take the old trading card approach and feature character bios and history on the back.
