Marvel Comics Brings Prodigy, Jean Grae, and Esoteric, 7L and Inspectah Deck from Czarface, for its Signing Event on Friday, Oct. 7th, at 12PM ET.
Marvel’s monthly video series, “Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet,” continues to link the world of comics and hip-hop blending animated comics along with commentary from Black Panther writer, Ta-Nehisi Coates. At this year’s New York Comic Con, Marvel Comics will continue to celebrate this cultural bridge by inviting fans to meet the hip-hop stars who have contributed to this artistically significant video series with Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet Hip-Hop Artist Signing on Friday, October 7th, from 12PM – 1PM at the Marvel Booth (booth #1354).
Continuing the excitement surrounding Marvel’s celebrated Super Hero, Black Panther, each episode of “Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet”has either debuted or sampled a brand new track from some of the biggest upcoming names in the world of hip-hop including Prodigy, Jean Grae, along with Esoteric, 7L, and Inspectah Deck from Czarface, and Marvel is excited to bring this collection of selected talent directly to the fans for a one-of-a-kind signing event.
To accompany the Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet Hip-Hop Artist Signing, Marvel has produced a Black Panther convention exclusive poster by artist Nelson Blake II displaying each hip-hop artist who has been involved in the video series – Run The Jewels, Prodigy, Jean Grae, Kweku Collins, Czarface – and announces the inclusion of Jeff N Fess and Flatbush Zombies on upcoming episodes. These limited-quantity exclusive posters will only be made available on Friday at the Marvel Booth at NYCC.
