In a move that is sure to surprise everyone, Nintendo have partnered with Mercedes to release a special GLA DLC. This is about as close as we will ever get to having Mario and friends in real Forza/Grand Turismo style racing game. How this will fit into the cannon of the Mario universe is beyond me.

Not only are they teaming up to bring the CLA to Mario Kart 8, but Nintendo and Mercedes have teamed up in a new commercial showing our favorite plumber in level 1-1 of the original Super Mario Bros. riding around in an 8-bit CLA. The commercial ends with everything going real world and a very tough looking IRL Mario popping out of a CLA only to be fell by a tiny Goomba.

This is all pure madness and something only Japan could dream up.
