The team behind Gloria Victis presents us with a brand new work-in-progress teaser showing the next set of new animations – longsword combat.
These animation look to simulate the feeling of combat and realism of battle moves, which are based on authentic techniques of Medieval swordsmen. These aniamtions couldn’t be achieved without the work of Jakub Kisiel, known from his work on many games such as Gears of War and The Witcher 3, where he was animating Geralt himself.
Over the last few updates the team have been focusing on new players experience, adding a lot of content for tailored to newcomers. Thanks to this, new players can eaisly learn the basic mechanics of the game, such as combat, gathering resources and crafting necessary equipment. The team have also implemented a brand new Glory system.
Glory allows all players to compete in a complex ranking system, climbing up the rank table ladder by performing numerous in-game activities.
