Little Orbit and Cartoon Network Announce ‘Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom’

Like sands through an hourglass there is another Adventure Time game in the works. For any of you out there who have played the multitude of Adventure Times games over the past few years, you know that the titles have been very hit or miss. Usually when confronted with licensed games, you can safely assume that it’ll turn out poor, or at the very least something bland and mediocre.

Adventure Time games have had a love and hate relationship with players, so whenever a new title is announced I wait with bated breath. It’s such a fantastic property that the possibility of a fantastic game is there. We will see what Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom when it drop later in 2014.

Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom to debut on Steam, Nintendo 3DSTM, Xbox 360® and PlayStation®3 this November

Santa Ana , CA. –May 08, 2014 – What time is it? It’s time for an all-newAdventure Time video game!  Little Orbit, alongside Cartoon Network Enterprises, announce the third installment in the mathematical Adventure Time video game franchise. 

Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom is slated to launch in November 2014 and will be developed by veteran game studio WayForward, which created the franchise’s first two titles.  The game will introduce a classic top-down action adventure experience and puzzle-solving element to the franchise, reminiscent of early high fantasy console games. 

“WayForward is the perfect studio to bring the third all-new Adventure Time video game to fans of the animated series,” said Matt Scott, CEO of Little Orbit.  “Just like the Adventure Time television series, these video games have resonated strongly across all age groups and we’re thrilled to be publishing the latest installment of this beloved franchise.”

In Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom, players take on the personas of both Finn and Jake as they navigate through the eponymous kingdom – a mysterious unexplored region in the Land of Ooo.  They will discover hidden secrets by exploring all corners of a new kingdom created exclusively for the game and encounter never-seen-before characters and creatures.
