Second star to the right, and straight on ’til morning.
Lenovo’s got something special for all the Trekkies. A PC in a metal case modeled after the Enterprise-A from Star Trek, dubbed the Lenovo Titanium Enterprise NCC-1701A. I can already hear you reaching for those wallets.
Granted, it’s not a perfect model of the ship; you need a fair bit of space to jam in all of those PC parts after all. Still, aside from the relatively well hidden box between the nacelles, the rest of the body looks as accurate as possible. But that’s not the only draw; it’s also got the sort of power under the hood you’d expect from a Federation starship.
- 9th Gen Intel CPU (overclocked)
- 32GB of DDR4 memory
- 1 TB M.2 SSD
- 2 TB HDD
- GeForce RTX 2080
- custom high-performance LAN and Wi-Fi setup
- LED lighting effects
- Mini projector
Granted, with all that power, there have to be a few downsides. For one, it’s aimed at China, and that seems to be where it will stay. At least, for now anyway. The other major downside is sticker shock; it’ll run you around $2,180 just to start with. Still, if you’ve got the money to burn, you can earn some nerd cred with other Star Trek fans right quick with it.
