It’s a twofer.
It’s been a while since we had an actual Incredibles game. Well, in the wake of the movie sequel we’ve been waiting for, our cup runneth over. Because we’re getting a Lego The Incredibles game, and it will cover content from both movies.
Not only is long time Lego game developers TT Games on the job, it’ll be available the same day Incredibles II hits theaters: June 15 (or July 23 in the UK). The game features an open world hub, including locations like Municiberg and Nomanisan Island.
The game also features “Crime Bosses” for you to tackle, the more of the world you open up, the more crime bosses there are for you to tackle. So in a rare move for superhero stuff nowadays, you can actually fight crime in a game about crime fighters.
As a last touch, the game will also feature Supers outside of the Parr family, and not just Frozone, either. Remember all of those characters mentioned or briefly shown in the film? They’re playable. And their powers will be useful for traversing certain parts of the world.
At least you have a few months to find your supersuit. Lego The Incredibles Launches July 15, on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
