Polish games developer Jujubee announced today that the company is working on KURSK, an adventure and survival game coming to PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will look at the tragedy of the submarine ship from a new angle and will combine first-person action with a heavy focus on a carefully crafted story and an engrossing gameplay.
“KURSK will definitely be a game for mature audiences looking for a unique and cinematic experience” – said Michal Stepien, CEO of Jujubee. “There is still controversy surrounding the real fate of this Russian submarine and with our game we hope to raise and answer some questions”.
The studio published a reveal teaser that you can watch below:
The trailer doesn’t show any gameplay, but it does help set the mood for what we can expect. At the very least the project has us intrigued, especially with it’s ties to real events. The year 2000 may seem like a lifetime ago to many, but to base a game off such a recent event/mystery has us excited to see more.
