Unregistered Hypercam 2
Kingdom Hearts III has been a pretty big release. I mean, they only kept everyone waiting for 13 years, after all. Which is why a tiny oversight has made the rounds recently.
The sharp-eyed among you might spot something interesting in the game’s Frozen world cutscenes. You can clearly see, though for only a second, the word “Arnold” across Elsa.
This is, in fact, an artifact of the rendering process used on the cutscene. The Arnold watermark will wind up displayed in a render when Autodesk Maya can’t find a license for Arnold Rendering. For whatever reason, this means that one of the workstations used to render the scene didn’t have the license activated, and thus the watermark wound up in the finished game.
Regardless of how it happened, it’s probably a pretty easy fix. A patch featuring a new render could probably be put up pretty easy. But the internet never forgets…
