Katee Sackhoff & James Van Der Beek star in epic Power Rangers fan film

Power Rangers

Lionsgate and Saban Entertainment are hard at work putting together their 2016 reboot of “Power Rangers,” but before we see that cookie cutter version of the team “Torque” director Joseph Kahn has other plans.

Kahn has unleashed on the world his updated vision on the Power Rangers in this fan film. This new Rangers film is dark, violent, and will no doubt have you glued to the screen. It picks up after the end of the television show/films with Machine Empire now in full control of planet earth.

James Van Der Beek stars as the traitorous former Ranger Rocky and Katee Sackhoff takes on the role of Kimberly. It’s fourteen minutes of non-stop action that shows the demise of the Power Rangers once the magic of being teenagers has worn off.

If you are a Power Rangers fan, then you are going to want to make time to watch this fan film. It is bound to be more entertaining than anything Lionsgate and Saban will put out in 2016. The quality is off the charts and the acting (something every iteration of Power Rangers lacked) is pretty great.
