I admit it’s kinda eerie, but this proves my chaos theory.
There are two types of people in the world; those that like Jeff Goldblum, and soulless monsters. Which is why it’s nice to see they’re bringing his character back for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Even though I’m pretty sure Ian Malcolm was dead at the end of the original novel. I guess ah, that also proves, yes, yes, his chaos theory. Oh well, so is Michael Crichton; Hollywood can’t hurt him anymore (though it is my opinion that The 13th Warrior is better than the book). But either way, the teaser they’ve put together for the new movie ought to please the dinosaur center of your brain:
The other good thing? They’re bringing back the puppetry and animatronics for the dinosaurs as is most practical. I’d imagine partially due to the fact that acting versus a green screen and a tennis ball is really unpleasant. And also that everyone has finally recognized Guillermo Del Toro’s genius. Plus that the only way to improve on guns, dinosaurs, and explosions is to double the amount of guns, dinosaurs, and explosions.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is slated to release June 22, 2018.
