Jordan Peele has been hard at work on his revival of The Twilight Zone. But the recent teaser released by CBS has an added bit of information. He’ll also be hosting the show.

He was initially unsure about hosting the show himself. Mostly due to a belief that his comedic background would diminish the impact Anyone stepping into those shoes should have. But, I’d argue it’s definitely working out.

In an interview with TV Line, Peele had this to say:

Rod Serling was an uncompromising visionary who not only shed light on social issues of his time, but prophesied issues of ours. I’m honored to carry on his legacy to a new generation of audiences as the gatekeeper of The Twilight Zone.

The Twilight Zone is set to premiere on CBS All Access sometime in 2019.
