It’s Build Engine, brah.
3D Realms and Voidpoint have been conspiring behind our backs. Because they’re putting out a brand new Build Engine game: Ion Maiden. And it’s in Early Access right now.
Starring Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison from, well, Bombshell, the game promises all of the old school vibes you could want. None of the crap fads that have occurred in the intervening years, like regenerating health and cover stuff. Just pure running and gunning. With a few improvements, like better physics, resolution, and auto saves.
While Ion Maiden is in Early Access right now, It won’t be staying long. It should release proper Fall this year.
