Instagram Launches Selfie Filters to Compete with Snapchat

I’m a Luddite. Our Editor in Chief had to drag me kicking and screaming onto FaceBook. I don’t do social media in general. The Emoji Movie makes me want to die. It’s very odd that I write for this magazine.

So I guess Instagram is trying to take on Snapchat by adding those obnoxious filters you see dumb teenagers add to their pictures to look cute or something.

They also added a golden filter to smooth your features and make you look younger.  This is all good news for me because I feel old every time I remember that The Emoji Movie got Patrick Stewart to voice a talking pile of soft-serve shit.
