Homestar Runner makes his triumphant return

Soooooooooo good! Those of you from the early days of the internet will fondly remember the name Homestar Runner. In an age before YouTube (2000 to be exact) and other streaming platforms there was Homestar Runner. A Flash series of cartoons that took the internet by storm. I remember eagerly awaiting new episodes of now classic Strong Bad Email and Teen Girl Squad like it was the greatest thing ever –It was. Just how popular was Homestar Runner you ask? Well, it was large enough to spawn a series of point-and-click adventure game for multiple platforms by Telltale Games who went on to create the critically renowned Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us series of adventure games.

Well, it looks as if Trogdor and friends are making a comeback. It’s a whole different world with the advent of YouTube and social media, heck, the Homestar web site hasn’t see an update since before widescreen LCD screens were a thing. Matt Chapman and brother Mike are heading back to the series that made them early internet celebrities. While no announce date has been set, the duo is working on a site redesign and a full archiving of past content on YouTube prior to the launch of new content.
