Hogwarts Legacy Is Getting Official Mod Support

Hogwarts Legacy Getting Official Mod Support

Warner Bros. Games has unveiled a new feature for fans of their open-world action RPG, Hogwarts Legacy: official PC modding support. Starting this week, January 30th, players on Steam and Epic Games Store can download the latest patch, enabling them to easily access and install mods directly from the game’s main menu. For aspiring mod creators, the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit will be available for free on the Epic Games Store, offering tools to craft custom content.

CurseForge, one of the largest mod repositories for video games, will host and moderate Hogwarts Legacy mods. The Creator Kit will allow players to design new quests, dungeons, and character enhancements like cosmetics and skins. Once created, mods can be submitted through CurseForge for publication in the game.

To showcase the new modding system, developer Avalanche Software released a video highlighting some of the studio’s favorite mods (above), including the “Dungeon of Doom,” a combat-heavy dungeon filled with secrets, as well as broom replacements, expanded character creation options, and outfit customization.

Players will need a Steam or Epic Games Store account linked to a Warner Bros. Games account to access official mods. Get ready to unleash your creativity and explore a whole new side of the wizarding world!
