Here’s a teaser and a poster for season seven of Mad Men

I thought Mad Men was spectacular last year. Not only did the show produce its most WTF episode to date, “The Crash,” but it laid the groundwork for its seventh and final season by slowly, deliberately tearing down the facade of Don Draper so that by the end he was showing his childhood home-cum-brothel to his children, allowing them to see him in a new light. It was a brave, selfless decision by Don Draper, and Jon Hamm was fearless and amazing all season.

So with the first half of season seven debuting on April 13, AMC has released a short teaser. Let’s see how they’re tantalizing us this time:

You know, if this were any other show, that would mean nothing. But since this is Mad Men we’re talking about, Don getting off an airplane could mean anything. AMC has also released a poster, so let’s take a look at that:

Holy crap. That is a mic drop to be sure. If you think you’ve seen that art style before, you have; it’s the work of iconic 60s designer Milton Glaser, who is probably most famous for the I ❤ NY poster.
