Tom Cruise returns as everyone’s favorite ass kicker, Jack Reacher. This first trailer for the upcoming film based on the book series sees Mr. Reacher being pulled back into action to help a friend (COBIE SMULDERS) clear her name after being falsely accused of espionage. What the pair find is something that runs much deeper than they could have eve imagined, because of course it does, this is a movie!

Still, the movie looks like a fun action romp and I’ll admit that Tom Cruise has still got it. Not that many stars from his generation still out there doing the action-hero thing. JACK REACHER: NEVER GO BACK hits theaters this October. Check out the first trailer below:
