*sings in Ahhhhh*
During tonight’s Inside Xbox show, Microsoft confirmed that Halo: The Master Chief Collection would be headed to PC. And, moreover, that it would also include Halo: Reach, the prequel to the original Halo: Combat Evolved.
The PC version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection won’t be coming all at once, though; it’ll head to the platform in stages. Each game will be released in the in-game universe’s chronological order, starting with Halo: Reach, followed by Halo: Combat Evolved, and so on. 343 Industries said that the staggered releases give them a chance to make sure that each game is “right”. That means all the PC goodies you’s expect: remappable keys, FOV sliders, high-grade monitor (4K, Ultrawide) support, and adjustable framerates. And Microsoft also stated that the games will “evolve and grow over time with community input”.
We’re embarking on a journey with our community to build a PC experience that delivers on PC gamer expectations. The team is passionately committed to ensuring that all of the features, bells, and whistles expected in a modern PC title are included with MCC.

there aren’t any prices or release dates set yet. But it’s nice that, in addition to the Microsoft Store, Halo: The Master Chief Collection is also being released on Steam. We can expect more information to come at SXSW and from Halo Waypoint.
