The Grumpy Cat train has finally reached the final station with the upcoming film based and starring the titular internet meme. But just how does one go about creating a film (a Lifetime film) about the worlds grumpiest cat? Well, lets find out below.
Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation) will be providing the voice to Grumpy Cat in the film. This makes the most sense as Grumpy Cat has existed for the past two or so years as simply an internet meme via text, but hey, they are making a Tetris movie so what the hell, anything is possible.
The trailer shows Grumpy Cat being able to speak with the human lead and the two parties getting into all sort of silly and hilarious hijinks that only a Lifetime original movie based on Christmas can provide. Sure, this is nothing more than a silly made for television movie, but the trailer does show some promise, especially with Plaza giving a very deadpan delivery.
Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever debuts on Lifetime on November 29th. You can catch the official trailer below.
