Internet game streaming service Google Stadia will launch its subscription gaming serve this November.
A subscription will cost $9.99 for the “Pro” plan that includes 4K streaming at 60 fps, HDR and 5.1 surround sound. Just make sure you have the bandwidth to support it.
A nice perk is that you’ll also get Destiny 2 and all it’s expansion content, including Shadowkeep, alongside an annual pass for future content that comes your way.
The subscription also offers up the following games: The Division 2, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Doom, and all the current generation Tomb Raider games. Not a bad lineup, especially if you’ve missed this titles.
Stadia seems to be targeted at more casual gamers with its Netflix-like service. I say this because you’ll need a Chromecast to run Stadia, so it’s targeted at people already in the Google ecosystem.
If you are a more “serious” gamer, you’ll be able to get newer titles as they launch, but those will cost an additional fee on top of the subscription. Google says their online store will offer discounts on these new games to help entice gamers.
