It’s time to play the feud.
Google is, once again, pulling YouTube support from Amazon devices. And in case you’re wondering why, it’s because their devices aren’t being sold on Amazon, (allegedly) in favor of Amazon’s devices.
So Google's feud with Amazon just reached my living room. Got this screen when I launched YouTube on my Amazon Fire TV. pic.twitter.com/vtmcuBTtE9

Google said in an email this Tuesday:
Given this lack of reciprocity, we are no longer supporting YouTube on Echo Show and Fire TV
Amazon, not to be outdone, responded in kind:
Google is setting a disappointing precedent by selectively blocking customer access to an open website.
If the entire thing seems petty to you, well, you have functioning eyes.

Google and Amazon are a bunch of children hurting their mutual customers https://t.co/dBOkass56s

This is just the latest arguably petty dispute between the two. And, considering how YouTube’s been doing of late, the platform can ill afford such spats.
