I am the bat.
He is vengeance. He is the night. He passed the Chūnin exams in a sub-10-minute span of an episode. He is Batman… Ninja. Batman Ninja.
To be fair, Batman’s pretty much already a ninja, so this isn’t much of a stretch. And, the studio is actually going all out in an attempt to portray Batman from a Japanese perspective. And it definitely looks hype. It’s sort of looking like Batman by way of Sengoku Musou.
The only real thing I can think of to worry about is the animation. 3D anime pretending to be 2D is extremely hit-and-miss, more often the latter. From what I understand, Houseki no Kuni is doing really well with 3D. The 2016 continuation of Berserk on the other hand, well…
Yeah.
Regardless, we’ll get a chance to know for sure soon. Batman Ninja is slated to release on DVD and Blu-Ray in 2018.
