Goddamn Glinthawks, apropos of nothing.
The sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, Horizon Forbidden West, was lamentably delayed thanks to, in part, the pandemic that ruined 2020. But now, after figuring out how to navigate the issues caused by COVID, Things are back on track with the game. And Guerilla’s Mathijs de Jonge was proud to finally announce the launch date for the game in the trailer made for Gamescom 2021.
Horizon Forbidden West will launch for PS4 and PS5 February 18th, 2022. And even better, pre-orders open September 2nd this year.
In addition, Guerilla also patched Horizon Zero Dawn so that it will run a smooth 60 fps on PS5. So if you’ve got a PS5 and Horizon Zero Dawn, well, you can have a better experience with it than ever before.
I just sort of considered this one kismet, since I started playing through HZD last week, and have been enjoying it… mostly.
