Another month means another round of free video games for those taking advantage of the Games With Gold service. There are some interesting games on tap this month that should keep you busy during that Thanksgiving break.
First up is the detective adventure game Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter. I missed this one when it released back in 2016 but I had a lot of fun with the previous game. It was a pretty chill affair with some decent puzzles, sleuthing, and moral choices that really caught me off guard at times.
Also on the menu is The Final Station of which we covered some time back. Our reviewer really enjoyed this post-apocalyptic side-scrolling shooter that has you traveling from train station to train station.
The random throwaway game this month is Joy Ride Turbo which I’ve never heard of. It looks to be a racing game that throws your Xbox avatar into the drivers seat. It’s one of those middle-of-the-road sort of games that is fun for a little bit before forgetting all about it. No wonder I can’t recall this one.
The old-school fun this month come in the form of Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter. This 2002 space action game sticks you in the cockpit right before all that mess that went down in Attack of the Clones. It might not be Rogue Squadron levels of cool or nostalgic, but it’s still a blast.
