That is completely fucking accurate, and I’ll tell you why.
FXX has the streaming and VOD rights to every Simpsons episode ever made, from the dizzying heights of “Marge vs. the Monorail” to the unfathomable lows of “Lisa Goes Gaga.” Not enough for you? Well, FXX is also playing a marathon of The Simpsons – ALL of The Simpsons. From August 21 to September 1, FXX will air every Simpsons episode in chronological order (with the movie airing after episode 400).
Naturally, there’s more, as FXX is launching Simpsons World in October. Let’s see what the press release says about it:
“Simpsons World” will offer a unique and personalized Simpsons experience for both casual and super fans by allowing users to interact with premium content in unprecedented ways. For the first time ever, all authenticated viewers will have instant and on-demand access to every single Simpsons episode ever, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via SimpsonsWorld.com, and FXNOW apps for iPhone, iPad, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Android phones and tablets, Smart TVs, and additional set-tops devices.
And now let’s check out some tweets that I pretty shamelessly cribbed from the good folks at Uproxx:
So long, world. We had a good run, but my life is Simpsons now.
