With update 2.0 mere days away, Heroes of the Storm plans to share a bit of generosity with its playerbase. In addition to the slew of new features, Blizzard is giving every player a chance to obtain 20 new heroes for free. All you need to do is log on and claim them between April 25th and May 22nd.
Once the 2.0 patch goes live, you’ll get exactly enough gems to purchase one of the hero Megabundles. Each is filled with heroes selected around a general theme, though there is a bit of overlap between each bundle. That said, choose wisely, as once you’ve selected one, the others will lock permanently. That said, it’s still an incredible boon for new players; when we started, Blizzard didn’t give you anything. You had to slum it with the free rotation until you had enough for a hero of your choice.
That said, you’ll want to make sure you get the most bang for Blizzard’s buck as possible. So be sure to check out the lists available here.
