I must confess that I watched the original Pitch Perfect a handful of times (more than 3, but less than 6) and thought it was a good, fun film about singing ladies. Sure, it was cheesy and rife with absurd humor, but in all honesty what’s wrong with that.

Not every film that drops has to be thinking about awards season. Pitch Perfect 2 drops this coming summer and should make for an enjoyable popcorn flick. You can catch the first official trailer below and you just might spot a certain YouTube celebrity is you look close enough.
