The Assassin’s Creed movie is a thing. Unlike other video games turned movies, Assassin’s Creed probably has the best chance of working because of the basic premise of the game. Accessing the memories of a genetic predecessor to live their life and do cool parkour stuffs. Sure, it’s not very deep, but it can work.
The first trailer for this movie project has dropped and, to be honest, it looks pretty alright. There is a lovely cast at work, a cool soundtrack featuring Kayne West that gets the idea across, really cool jumping around, and a lovely Spanish setting. Things are looking positive!
Well, there is that idiotic looking Animus that Fassbender is jerry-rigged to, but 9 out of 10 isn’t bad, especially for a first trailer.
