The trailer for Alien: Covenant wasn’t supposed to drop until tomorrow, but this is the internet and things leaking early comes with the territory. It also probably won’t give you nightmares, but we gotta have those clickbait titles*!
The trailer shows the crew of the Covenant landing on a new world to call home in for a colonization mission, and, well, things go bad very quickly. They find a strangely quiet planet with crops that must have been planted by someone.
They also find and Engineers ship that somehow ties it all back to Prometheus in some way. Even though this is a prequel to a prequel? I don’t really know anymore how any of the films work.
At least we’ll get some answers on May 19th when Alien: Covenant hits theaters.
*My friend said she most defintily will have nightmares and is quite mad I showed her the trailer.
